Blue Rootz is a six piece band from Buffalo that plays a healthy collection of blues, soul, and funk.
The core of the band which includes guitar, bass, drums, keys, and vocals is complemented by a two piece horn section consisting of saxophone and trombone.
This instrumentation allows Blue Rootz to have many different sounds and play various different styles of music including blues, soul, funk, reggae, jazz, and rock and allows them to play both music from the past, and the present.
