Warren Haynes has been recognized as a cornerstone of the American music landscape and revered as one of the finest guitar players in the world.
Throughout his prolific career as part of three of the greatest live groups in rock history – Allman Brothers Band, Gov’t Mule and the Dead – his virtuosic artistry has led to thousands of unforgettable performances. Tuesday night at Artpark is sure to be yet another.
Gov’t Mule’s new album Revolution Come – Revolution Go has been well received since its release in June.
Kicking off the night will be new Orleans super group Galactic! The band has developed a unique sound as a result of their influences, including rock, funk, brass band, blues, jazz, hip hop, electronic, and world music.
The other cool thing about a Galactic show is that they are known for inviting guest musicians from New Orleans to perform onstage with them, so you never quite know what you are going to get until they take the stage.
