Help Wanted

Buffalo.FM is looking for passionate people to help us better document the true live music experience in Buffalo and Western New York. We are going to let our friends on other live music websites focus on reviews and focus our sole attention on top rated video content and multimedia content providers.

We are currently seeking part time help in the following positions:

VIDEOGRAPHERS:

Our video editors are about to lose their minds.  They’ve been stuck in their editing holes for days and we are afraid they could snap at any time. No not really.  We let them out to pee once in a while :-)

Where just a few months ago Buffalo.fm was begging artists to let us shoot their shows,  now Buffalo.FM is  getting invited to capture some freaking amazing live music on an almost daily basis,  but we just don’t have the time to do it all ourselves.

So we are asking a few good folks to put down those silly camera phones and let us put a professional video camera in your hand.  You’ll get into free shows, put a few bucks in your pocket and the chic’s will really dig you!

CONTENT PRODUCERS:

We are always looking for editorial staff members to report on the news, and broaden our coverage of the music industry outside of Buffalo. If you have previous experience with journalism, are already a well known blogger, or just someone who has a great ear for music, we’d love to hear from you.

PHOTOGRAPHERS:

RECORD A DIGITAL DIARY BY TAKING PICTURES AT SHOWS

We want to get you up close with the artists to provide the best coverage of live music events throughout the country. We will do our best to give you the opportunity to get the most exposure for your work. Whether you are an established photographer, looking to build your resume or just make contacts, we could use your services.

Please provide as much detail about your work as possible including a link to your online portfolio, and whatever else you think may impress us. You really can’t out-do it here. We look over applicants for press passes in bulk, and will get back to those candidates who we would like to take pictures on behalf of Live for Live Music.

All images submitted for photo galleries and for content on the Live for Live Music website may be subject to watermarking, re-distribution and are considered done so with a Creative Commons Attribution standard license.
