Hi-Fidelity Records Will Celebrates Record Store Day

As a person who likes music, I wanted to know more about Record Store Day.  Hi-Fidelity Records Store Owner, Chris Berroth, and Audra Baumgardt, told me more about their store and Record Store Day event.  Here is the scoop:

What is Hi-Fidelity Records and what do you do?

Hi-Fidelity Records, is locally owned and operated in the heart of Tonawanda, New York, the record store is a dream come true for music lovers of the past and present. Hi-Fidelity Records offers Vinyl Records in LPs and 45s, and Sells, Installs, and Repairs Audio Equipment.  Specializing in New and Used Vinyl, as well as Audio Equipment Repair and Maintenance.
Can you tell me about Record Store Day?
The first Record Store Day was held April 2008.  The purpose of Record Store Day is to celebrate independent record stores.  The goal behind the Record Store Dayis to have fun throw a holiday for the music.  2015, Record Store Day has 1,200 participating stores in the U.S. and 1,000 more worldwide.  There are approximately 400 exclusive Record Store Day releases for the U.S.  Both Major and Indie labels are sold, 60% of those are coming from independently own labels.
Where can we hear a sample of Vinyl?
Vinyl is always being played in the store.  This past weekend, 97 Rock played an all vinyl weekend with music provided by Hi-Fidelity Records.  Dr. Bob, the residents Audible “Doctor”  spins Hi-Fidelity records at the Vape ‘n Vinyl night at the Legion across the street on Wednesday nights, this Wednesday will be it’s last for a while.
April 18, 2015 at 10 am, Hi-Fidelity Records at 61 Main Street Tonawanda, NY 14150,will celebrate Record Store Day providing many new releases to the public.
