UNTAPPED, ULTD. PRESENTS SILO CITY TAPPED: AN ALL DAY EVENT FEATURING MUSIC & CRAFT BEERS & WINE & HISTORY & FOOD & LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! (Sept. 13, 2p-10p)

Silo City Tapped is a day of music, food, craft beer, and Buffalo history. Listen to blues & jazz & rock & country from some of Buffalo’s most popular groups. Enjoy food from a wide selection – everything from BBQ to vegetarian. Try some of our 20+ craft beers (5 oz. sample sizes available)- Explore Buffalo’s historic grain elevators up close, inside and out, thanks to free tours from Explore Buffalo.

Admission to this event is only $5.

The Music: Alison Pipitone Band will play their particular, award-winning brand of American rock; Miller and the Other Sinners plays smokin’ hot blues; George

Scott Big Band is a 10-piece hoppin’ jazz band; Country is represented by up- and-comers Uncle Ben’s Remedy. Also, Peter Burakowski and the Larkin Plan is a groundbreaking alt-rock group that performs Buffalo-themed songs about some of the most significant events in our city’s history. .

The Beer: Beer will be sold in 5 oz. tasting cups, and 12-oz. cups. Brewers

include Flying Bison, Ellicotville Brewing Company, Southern Tier, Magic Hat, Dundee, Wolavers, Spaten, Victory, Franziskaner, Warsteiner, Shiner Bock, Otter Creek, Ommegang, and NA beer TBA. We’ll also have wine from TenThousand Vines.

Logistics:

• Silo City is located at 92 Childs Street, Buffalo, NY

• FREE parking (on site for the first 500 cars)

• Plenty of free street parking along Ohio Street

• Or take a ferry from canalside – round trip ferry tickets are $15; ferry will

run from Central Wharf 2pm-10pm (Queen City Ferry Company)

• Bikes are welcome, so ride to Silo City if you are so inclined!

• You are welcome to bring your own chair

• Please, no bottles, cans, or coolers

The Elevators: Silo City is comprised of the Perot Elevator/American Malting Elevator/Genesee Brewing Elevator; the American/Rusell-Miller/Peavey Elevator; and the Marine “A” Elevator). Free tours by Explore Buffalo on the half-hours from 2pm-8pm.
