Blue October on the Fear Tour came to Niagara Falls with Ashleigh Stone and Harvard Of The South! Blue October is an American alternative rock band originally from Houston, Texas.Their set was a spot on! I talked to a few fans before the show and they came in from as far as Florida to see these fine musicians. Justin’s voice and presence is mesmerizing, while everyone in the band shares commitment to give the best music. These guys go way beyond fantastic talent, they breath life into every musical moment. Blue October really delivered. Harvard of the South is filled with such musical talent and I believe that have great potential to go far. I think Blue October may have a doppelganger or two in Harvard of the South, and I think it was super that Blue October allowed Harvard of the South the great opportunity to open up for them.

Ashleigh Stone was a welcomed surprise. Her vocals and stage presence was similar to that of young Tori Amos. Stone’s vocals are mesmerizing and powerful, and were beautifully delivered. She sat on the stage with just a keyboard and a Mic, but that was all she needed to be loved by the crowd. This young lady had much to offer and boy did she deliver.

Members: Justin Furstenfeld – vocals, guitar Ryan Delahoussaye – violin Matt Noveskey – bass Jeremy Furstenfeld – drums
