About Kitchen Dwellers:

“The Kitchen Dwellers, formed only three years ago in Bozeman, are quickly emerging as one of the best bluegrass bands in the country.”
Rich Ledoux – The Moose 95.1 FM

“Summer music” in this Northern Rockies town pretty much translates to outdoor bluegrass. Our community is blessed with talented musicians, and though it was hard to choose just one, we’re currently partial to these local stars rocking the banjo, mandolin, fiddle, guitar, and bass. The Kitchen Dwellers, formed about 3 years ago by 3 young gents in Bozeman, are increasingly well-known for their foot-stomping, fiddle-infused good tunes. Expect to hear Celtic, rock, psychedelic, and acoustic influences mixed in with the seriously fast pickin’.
The Bozeman Magpie

“The Kitchen Dwellers are authentic and talented musicians; they play because they like to, and their passion is evident even when playing for a one-person audience. Shelstad belts out lyrics with the power of a bullfrog (a self-proclaimed influence of his), Swain and Daniels bust out solos with lightning-fast finger-picking, and Funk jams with complex bass lines and deep solos.”
Karen Wilson – MSU Exponent
